ST. JOHNSBURY — A 26-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday after allegedly driving intoxicated to the St. Johnsbury police station to pick up a friend who was arrested for DUI hours before.
Police say the man drove to the police station at 1068 U.S. Route 5 at approximately 12:20 a.m. to pick up his friend, identified as Regan Noyes, 23, from, Lyndonville.
According to the report, Noyes was arrested for a DUI after being pulled over at around 10:29 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Authorities suspected the man, identified as 24-year-old Blake Schoolcraft from Peacham, to be intoxicated upon arrival to the police station.
Schoolcraft refused the sobriety test and was charged with DUI Refusal, according to police.
